Leben in einer Garage

Da ich mich ja um eine Unterkunft für London kümmern muss, habe ich eine Top Seite im Internet gefunden. Leider musste ich schnell feststellen das Mietpreise dort ein wenig höher sind … Die Wohnungen müssen dort unwahrscheinlich knapp sein, denn ich bin da auf folgende Anzeige gestoßen (raffe das ganze etwas):

The Room: A converted integral GARAGE in a lovely sharehouse in leafy Chiswick. …… It’s a garage, but you don’t feel like a hermit. The house is fully furnished by a good landlord, including the tv, dvd player, stereo, washing machine, microwave, oven, 2 fridges/freezers, bathrooms etc. Moreover, you’re in a very social yet considerate house of young professionals who you will look forward to seeing every night when you come home.

The Deal:….- £280 per month ALL INCLUSIVE. That’s right, you get the benefits of comprehensive SKY TV package, broadand wireless INTERNET, ALL BILLS, utilities and taxes, even though you only pay about £65 per week to live in such a great area. ……Basically, it’s exactly what you want when living in London.

Transport: You are about 8 mins walk to TURNHAM GREEN tube station (District Line, ZONE 2), ….. but a lot nicer, so it will be rare to get such an affordable room in an area as perfect as this.
